Hi everyone. Shhhhh… Wow! How is that for you? Just being in silence. Was your mind thinking oh her audio has gone off! Oh my gosh what’s really happening? Her lips aren’t moving say maybe she not even isn’t speaking but did she forget what she was going to say or what?

Well, today I am going to speak about the profundity of silence. Silence is so powerful. Hardly anybody ever gets into silence. That’s why I want to speak about it today.

Because what I would love for you to know is that silence is where everything, the fertility of life, is in that silence. So how do we live in this world right now? It’s so noisy!

There is so much going on. We have so much drama, trauma, all the confusion, all the things that are going on at such a high level. How do we get through our days?

Well what we do most of the time is we just jump in the boat and we start going into the chaos and the confusion and we live our lives that way. In fact, we become so ensconced, we become addicted to it. We are addicted to drama as a collective. We are addicted to the feelings of the flow that everybody is in.

Everybody is in hysteria so we are too. We are very tribal by nature and because of that, we have the tendency to just go with where everybody is going. What if you stopped!? What if you became different?

What if you went inside and were with yourself rather than just being Harry Carrier whatever that word is. What if you decided for yourself that you are going to go internally and before you were just reactive to everything, you took a breath?

What if you became the observer and you watched what was happening out there and you just allowed yourself to observe that at such a high level that you were not at affect of it? What if you took your power back from all the chaos and the confusion and the trauma and the drama of life?

What if you stayed inside in silence? Can you imagine what your life would be like? I can guarantee this, it would be a lot happier and a lot more peaceful. We create all of these limitations inside for ourselves. We have these self-imposed limitations. We have time frames we have to do this within a certain time.

Well, do you know why that is? Do you know what’s underneath that? What’s underneath that is fear. All limitations are self-imposed and everything that we think that we must do within any certain period of time is based on a fear.

Well if I don’t do that I’m not going to get paid. Well, if I don’t do that he is going to be mad at me. If I don’t do that she will never speak to me again. Well, if I don’t do that then I won’t get this to my boss and then I’ll lose my job and if I lose my job I won’t have any money and if I don’t have any money then I can’t take care of my family. If I can’t take care of my family we are going to be on the streets and if we are on the streets we won’t have any food and we won’t have any shelter and we won’t be able to do anything and we are going to die.

That’s actually the way the mind works whether you are conscious of it or not. There is always this underlying thing going on about what’s the worst that can happen and death is one of the things that comes up a lot for people.

So, what if you just stepped out of the box of the rest of the world and you became an individual? You became so centered in what it is that you knew was true for you that you didn’t become or be reactive but rather you observed and you responded.

You responded with the gentleness and compassion of the silence. The silence is so profound and when you learn how to be in silence when you learn how to really be ok with things that are going on around you without being at affect of it, do you know what occurs?

You have an inspiration instead of a desperation show up. Things just kind of like happen. You recognize that life is just happening and you can jump into the boat of the flow or you can go no I can’t because I have to do this and I have to do that. And I’m really in a place of I cannot live if I’m not in drama. Hmmm.

See awareness is everything. Wake up and be aware of what you are thinking, what you are doing, what you are saying, how you are feeling!!

So, here’s the suggestion for today. Stop, be still, get connected to what’s inside of you. That silence and your mind is going to be busy, busy, busy while you are just observing that place.

Your mind will try to fill up the nothingness. Just observe those thoughts. Pooof, pooof, pooof. They’ll just move through. You don’t have to do anything with them. They only stay when you grab on to them and you start creating a story around them.

What if you didn’t create a story around every thought that went by? What if you didn’t hold on to it and bring it here? You know what would happen? Your life would be in the flow and you’d be feeling good. All the time. That’s what would happen. You could experiment with that. That would be something for you to do. Kind of fun when you do it actually.

So, you are going to stop and you’re going to breathe and you’re going to observe your thoughts as they go through. And every morning and every night if you just go inside for even a minute or 5 minutes, could I do 5 minutes? I bet you could.

And when you do and when you just stay with the quietness and you observe the rhetoric that the mind is doing but you do not react to it, your life will really change.

You will come out with a sense of peace and from peace, you have the ability to have that inspiration, the flow of life, come forward for you and you are not reacting from that place that is built on fear and survival.

And I know these are deep concepts for some of you, but I invite you to just open up to what if what she said had some validity? And I know from some of the feedback I’m getting that these are really great and I’m appreciating your feedback so much.
