The Power IS within YOU!

It is great that you know that there are many things you can do to support yourself and this article will give you many Self-Healing Techniques that will create an action plan and an empowered state of mind .

Your body is a miracle machine and with some support, guidance and direction you can do wonders to increase your Vibrant Health.

Remember, your body is doing literally billions of processes each and every minute that keep the level of Homeostasis as even as possible.  This is a daunting task and if you were able to see what is really happening you would be on your knees in awe.

We spend most of our lives without knowing how much abuse we are giving our bodies and then wonder why after years of mistreatment our bodies start to respond with pain, suffering, inflammation and disease.

We rarely know as a child that the immense amounts of sugar we take in can cause long term bacterial overgrowth in the colon and possible pancreas and liver issues.  Of course, the addiction to sugar sets in and we watch our weight increase and many other issues arise.

Do we think about the pesticides, preservatives, GMO’s and other poisons we are ingesting on a daily basis?  Most do not.

Is there Awareness of the environmental pollutants that have overtaken our homes and the world?  How often do you think about the gases, radiation and other toxins that we breathe in consistently?  Do we consider the ‘dirty’ electricity that comes from the cell phone, bluetooth and other technology devices we use?  Is there a consideration about what the body must do to constantly work at maintaining homeostasis and literally, be fighting for its Life?

You are wise to be investigating and learning more ways to be kind to your precious hard-working body.

The first thing you must do is to have Awareness that your body needs support and that is apparent if you are reading this article that you’re making a plan to improve your life.

Some basic principles to keep in mind for any Technique to be Most Effective are:

  • Believe Self-Healing is possible
  • Feel the result of what you desire
  • Visualize or perceive the result of what you desire
  • Become the result of what you desire
  • Focus on what you are committed to
  • Become Friends with your Body
    • Being Friends with Your Body  is key.  The more connected you are with your body the more effective any Self-Healing Technique will be.

Let’s look at some powerful Healing Techniques that you can use to create a Happier, Healthier Body.  Although there are many suggestions for Self-Healing, I will give you some of the ones that I have personally used on myself and with many of my patients/clients that have proven effective.  These are some of my favorites.

You may also find yourself more comfortable with one technique in one circumstance and another time find that a completely different one works best.  You can also use more than one on any given day.

  • Visualization – This is a proven method that can literally change the cells and the outcome of what you are focusing on.  You must see (visualize or perceive) yourself as healed or how you would like to see yourself as.  Divert all attention away from what you ‘think’ is going on and ONLY see the situation as you would like it to be.  In other words, completely healed or better yet, never having had anything be out of sorts.

For example, let’s say you have acne.  Close your eyes, breathe deeply, rhythmically and with focus.  See and feel your skin as clear, smooth and flawless.  Do this for 5 FULL minutes once or twice a day.  Give your body time to create the results for you.  Continue with this until you see results.  When using visualization or any of these techniques it does not mean you do not take other action plans that would supportive of your situation.  If you had acne, you might want to uses certain lotions or cleansing products to help with excess oils.  you might also want to change your diet or have your hormones checked.  These techniques are supportive and to be used as part of a Healing regimen.

  •  EFT Tapping – Emotional Freedom Technique combines Chinese acupressure with modern psychology that utilize tapping on certain Meridians in the body.  This technique has proven to create tremendous healing on a psychological, physical, mental and emotional level. You can learn more at
  • Genius-Health Team – Within each of us we have an unseen team of support which I call The Genius Team.  One aspect of the Genius Team is your own personal Health Team.

I do this daily.

  • Meditation – This has a myriad of techniques within itself.  I recommend you google meditation and find the style that works best for you.
  • Affirmations – These are positively worded statements that speak as if it is already done.  The more you can feel and experience the energy and power of the words the more successful the results will be.  An example “I love my strong and healthy body.”
  • Afformations – This technique is different than Affirmations.  This uses questions to send the mind off for answers that will empower and create change in anything you put your thought and attention to.  An example would be “Why am I so Healthy?” or “What would it take for me to experience a vibrant, joyful Life?”  You can learn more about Afformations at

    Energy work such as Reiki or Qigong – Qigong means air or inner vital energy.  It means resistance to disease and regain health.  It involves regulation of the posture, mind, respiration, self-massage and movement.  The Reiki healing technique is based on the principle that you or someone else channels energy into the person by means of internal focus or touch.  This can activate the natural healing processes of your body and restore physical and emotional well-being.
  • Prayer – Everyone knows the power of prayer.  Go within and connect to what your Higher Power or God is and ask for what it is that you desire.  It is best to NOT ask as a victim rather, as a clear worthy person who has a simple request that she/he would like results.  Some people find increased effects by asking other people to join in while all holding the focus for the healing.
  • Gratitude Journal

This will change everything in your Life.

You now have some of the most powerful techniques that put you in charge of Self-Healing.  We are never victims. We all have things occur that we would rather not have occur and to the degree that we resist “What Is” will be the degree that we experience more pain and suffering. We always have experiences to help us learn that “Perception” will create our heaven or hell.
