More About Chakra’s

Chakra is a Sanskrit word that translates to mean disk or wheel. In meditation, the term implies wheels of energy positioned throughout the body. These wheels enable you to obtain, transfer and manage life energies. Each chakra is a focal point affecting emotional, physical and spiritual, energies. The chakras are the system through which your body, spirit and mind, connect as one. MCmeditations are essential to keeping them balanced to avoid diseases.

Exploring the 7 Chakras

There are 7 chakras within your body representing 7 energy centers. Each one assists in maintaining the wellbeing of a specific section of your body. They are situated along your spine from its base to the crown of your head and can be activated using guided chakra meditation. One direct way to influence them is through chakra meditation music because they govern emotional states, which respond to sound healing frequency. The chakras are,

Muladhara – The Root Chakra

Located on the tailbone, at the base of the spine. It is important to becoming whole because it is the seat of Kundalini and the beginning of the three principal meridians. This root chakra controls your fertility, digestion, spinal column, excretion, and vitality. It is also responsible for the internal organs, adrenal glands, and blood. The root chakra is a fiery red color and balancing it offers you unrestricted intuition attracting material wealth.

It also controls your liver, small and large intestine, pancreas, stomach, lymph, blood, and is responsible for your food assimilation. This chakra controls your personality and capacity to form long-term relationships.

Anahata – The Heart Chakra

The heart chakra connects the lower matter to the upper spirit chakras. It’s a bridge between your mind, spirit and body and acts as the source of love. Situated at the center of the chest, neighboring the xiphoid process, it’s the primary heart center, a gateway to the soul. Its colored green and controls your circulatory system, thymus gland, and lungs. It also affects the immune system, breathing and pumping of the heart. It is linked to openness, compassion, and inspiration. Guided chakra meditation can help balance your heart chakra.

Vishuddhi – The Throat Chakra

Positioned at the base of the throat, this chakra is color blue. It controls your thyroid and parathyroid glands, bronchial apparatus, metabolism and vocal chords. The throat chakra symbolizes your intellectual side and helps you formulate judgments, become creative and communicate fully. This chakra controls Prana; the life force and enhances your vocal, and facial expression. Balancing it with chakra meditations offers you the psychic power of clairvoyance.

Ajna – The Third Eye

Ajna in Sanskrit refers to the eye of wisdom and is also known as Brow Chakra. This chakra is positioned between the eye brows, and is colored indigo. The third eye controls the pituitary gland, nervous system, the lower brain, and the endocrine glands. It’s in charge of all outgoing and incoming visions and thoughts. This controls physical and mystical sight, and seeing into the higher planes. It is connected to discernment, intuition, and divine understanding.

Sahasrara – The Crown Chakra

Referred to as the head heart center, it’s positioned at the top of your head. It is the highest frequency chakra which controls your pineal gland, nervous system and upper brain. Its colored violet and pure white light. It acts as the base for final divine integration and is the instrument through which you can communicate directly with divine light. The crown chakra is connected to your integration of the Whole, conscious alignment with Pure Awareness, and awareness of Oneness with Source.

The Connection between Chakra and Meditation

When your 7 chakras are imbalanced, diseases enter the human body implying that you require powerful chakra meditation. A well balanced chakra system is essential for vibrant health. The connection between chakra and meditation is that the latter is one of the most effective methods to activate and balance the 7 chakras. Chakra meditations increase awareness of feelings and emotional blocks. They open and clear the chakric system which then allows you to receive gifts from spirit.

Oxygenation and breathing are important characteristics essential to the energy system. These two are major aspects of meditation which makes guided meditation necessary to the process of Wholeness. The best place to begin meditation is where you are exhibiting symptoms. A guided meditation is the best way to start off. It helps you understand the chakra system and detect blockage or imbalances.

More About The Heart Chakra

The Sanskrit word Anahata translates to “unhurt”. It’s the spiritual position where past experiences have no power over you. Heart chakras meditation enables you to enhance awareness of physical and personalized forms of love, universal love and to accept your true self. A blocked heart chakra causes an inability to form real connections and leads to withdrawing from people. It prevents a connection between the mind and body which hinders your spiritual connection with the higher power.

Heart chakras meditation opens your heart and readies you to receive increased empathy. Chakra meditation music specifically designed to provide healing frequencies to your heart can increase your sensitivity during meditation. Meditation can regularize, slow or quicken your heart rate bringing about healing. Some guided chakra meditation for the heart include, YAM Meditation, Vaayu Meditation.

Becoming aware of your 7 chakras and detecting imbalances are processes that may take time. If you are a beginner to chakra meditations, don’t give up or judge yourself too harshly. Be patient and you will soon be able to do it easily.
