A lot of people think that fear is the obvious things like being shaky and having their throat close up, but fear is very hidden. Did you know that every time you have a resistance about anything, or you have a judgment, or you have an excuse about anything, or when you blame, you’re in fear? Fear has many different faces, and the majority of people do not realize how insidious and all-encompassing it is. Fear is not a bad thing, it’s a symptom. It tells you something’s off. Discover what fear does in our lives and how you can recognize what your body is actually telling you by its state of resistance.

The Hidden Fears That Cripple Us
I’m going to speak about those hidden fears that cripple us. A lot of people think that fear is about being shaky and I having their throat close up and things that are pretty obvious, but fear is very hidden. Did you know that every time you have a resistance about anything that you’re in fear? Did you know that every time you have a judgment, you’re in fear? Did you know that every time you will have an excuse about anything, you’re in fear? Did you know that when you blame, you’re in fear? Fear has many different faces and the majority of people do not realize how insidious it is and how all-encompassing it is. I invite you to be thinking about that and I invite you to be looking at the ways that you have fear that perhaps you never recognized is fear. Fear is not a bad thing, it’s a symptom. It tells you something’s off. It says that something is incongruent inside, something that you want, you are afraid, you have a thought is not possible or is not happening.
It’s very important to recognize when you had these fears in the subtlest ways because those subtle ways are the ways that start to add up little by little. What do they do? They create us living in a complete pattern of being frightened a lot of the time. Therefore, it’s important to recognize that when you have the awareness that you’ve got some resistance, you’ve got some judgment, you’re starting to realize this was probably a good majority of most people’s lives. It’s amazing when you start to look at what fear does in our lives.
When you recognize that, my suggestion is that you take a minute and you stop and when you stop. Go inside, get out of your head, and move to a place where you are recognizing there’s something else going on and do your very best to feel it. It’s usually somewhere in your body that you’ll notice it and for most people it’s in their gut, it might be in the throat or your chest. It takes some real practice for many people to recognize that their body is actually speaking to them and you could ask the question, “What’s going on here? Sometimes people when you’re asking them to purchase something will say, “I don’t have the money.” I’ve learned about 99% of the time that is not true. What I’ve learned is that people are afraid of change. They’re afraid to do what it takes to plow through that place of resistance that they have because the fear of the unknown, the fear of having to change is way bigger than spending some money. It’s a good excuse and most people will utilize that as a way to be able to stop themselves. Are you stopping yourself? Look inside and see how that looks for you.
